If you enjoy flowers, paintings, and porcelain, this vase is for you! Purple, yellow, magenta, and indigo Pansies are hand-painted onto each of the four sides. If the polychrome flowers aren't dreamy enough, the opening rim is gilded with gold which compliments the aqua blue neck framed by hand-painted vines. When this vase enters a room, it instantly becomes a little more romantic and whimsical!
Collector’s Notes:
Small hand painted porcelain vase featuring polychrome pansies. Rim and inside of neck are gilded, top of vase is glazed in a pastel blue hue. A green border separates the top from the body of the vase which has four sides. Each side panel features a unique assortment of polychrome pansy flowers and leaves. Signed on base, “Bessie C. Fritz.”
Condition: Excellent condition for an item of this age. There are several spots at vase opening where gilding has worn off. No chips or cracks, there is some crazing in the glaze at the base of one side.
