Vintage 1931 Rookwood Aqua Glaze Ruffled Rim Lattice Ceramic Vase 6266
Collecting local history is a wonderful thing! Especially when it looks as timeless as this Rookwood vase. Rookwood Pottery was founded in 1880 in Cincinnati, Ohio and this vase was made in 1931. Shaped in a scalloped hexagon that tapers down, it is decorated with lattice sections that give the form unified texture. Not only is this a functional work of art, but it is a unique piece of historic craftsmanship!
The verso is marked with the company logo that includes the letters RP, a full set of flames with Roman numerals “XXXI” along with the mold number 6266.
