Small objects can easily get overlooked in our shop, but this vintage miniature bowl is so precious it is deserving of everyone's adoration! Hand decorated and crafted by Rosalie Tewaguma Kaye (R.T.K) of the Hopi Tribe during the mid-late 20th Century. Her son, Lawrence Namoki (1949-2020), who began his artistic practice with carving like his father, eventually had the fire ignited in his heart for pottery and made a name from it. When looking at both of their work, it is clear a love for cultural practice and artistry was central to their First Village Walpi family.
