Motherly May | Handmade Jewelry, Cards, and Paintings
Share
Celebrate the hand crafted work of three different artists and mothers this May! Starting Friday, May 3rd (11:00 - 5:00), we kick off a month of handmade cards by Queen Bea Paperie's Shelly Bishop. Jeweler, Deborah Woolfork, will bring an array of her unique creations on Friday, May 3rd (11:00 - 5:00) and Saturday, May 4th (11:00 - 4:00). Local painter and muralist, Lari Jacobson, is bringing some of her artworks to the shop on Saturday, May 18th (11:00 - 4:00). She will also be offering commissions for her famous pet and home portraits!
Both Debrah Woolfork and Shelly Bishop find inspiration in existing materials! Shelly Bishop, founder and designer of Queen Bea Paperie Cards, creates each card uniquely from found vintage photographs, advertisements, and assorted papers.
While Shelly Bishop finds inspiration in the two-dimensional realm of found objects, Deborah Woolfork finds it in metals and minerals. Using fine sterling silver, she hand forges every piece of AAA gemstones, natural stones, and quality materials together. Each piece of jewelry is a work of art!
Due to the way Shelly and Deborah craft their works, every card or jewelry piece is one-of-a-kind.
Cards will still be available when the talented muralist and painter, Lari Jacobson, pops in to showcase her paintings on May 18th! Lari has worked with us on several interior design projects creating one-of-a-kind masterpieces that fit perfectly with our client's personalities. Secure a commission for a pet portrait or commemorate your home with a painting!
