19th Century Pair of Bronze Neoclassical Child Figures on Marble After Etienne Falconnet
These 19th Century sculptures are playful and will bring a joyful energy into your space! The young boy is adorned with grapes and vines and wears a loosely draped robe. Similarly dressed, the girl statue flaunts a floral crown and holds a small bird’s nest in her left hand. Together, these two figurines may represent the seasons Fall and Spring. Each of the bronze cast children is attached to a circular, mottled marble base with a green felted bottom. These Vintage Neoclassical sculptures will sophistically accent a study or living room.
They are signed ”Falconnet” which is covered by the green felt on bottom.
