Refresh any space with this lovely little vintage vase! This Japanese made vase has four sides that bow in the middle to create an interesting shape. Each of the four walls has a hand painted design that include a geisha, foliage, and pagoda. The top and bottom of the vase are square which enhance the overall design. Place on a shelf, mantel, or table to elegantly brighten up the room!

Vintage Hand Painted White Porcelain Bowed Cabinet Vase Japan 1950s. Possibly from the Fukagawa Seiji studios according to hallmark on bottom (Mount Fuji with a stream).
Each of the vase's four sides has a different painting on it. One side, a dancing woman in formal attire, opposite her is a pagoda with falling leaves. The two other sides both have a zig zag branch with three leaves. White is the base color with designs using primarily blue with accents of red, yellow, orange and green.
Condition: Excellent
Less than expected wear for age and function. Minor discoloration to base where porcelain meets surfaces (not unusual).
