A member of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, Marion Epstein's work was heavily influenced by political activism in the 1960s. Epstein's art is a complex layering of imagery and texture, line and translucent color. In the mid 1960s Epstein moved to Cleveland Heights and became a leading figure in the revival and development of innovative printmaking processes.
