Collector's Notes:
Antique 1809 Edinburgh Sterling Silver Stuffing Spoon; possibly William Robertson. Robertson used various hallmarks, with this one being difficult to identify fully. The spoon is similar to in style and crafting to known Robertson pieces.
Hallmarks in order are "W.R" with R being obscured by edge of stamp. Then is the hallmark identifying Edinburgh hallmarking, the three tower castle. Thistle hallmark identifies Scottish made. And the lowercase "d" in that font means it was registered in 1809. Finally, is the profile of King George III to mark tax was paid.
