Collector’s Notes:
These elongated glass cylinders were standard components of luxury fitted travel cases or part of a dresser vanity set. Used to store hatpins, hairpins, perfumes and bath salts. The heavy glass has a vertical columned design and a sterling lid that fits tightly on the top. The hallmark are in a row on the bottom part of the silver lid indicate that the jar was made by Thomas Wilkinson & Sons based out of Birmingham.
Maker's mark: T.I.; Purity mark: Lion symbol of walking lion facing left with right paw raised; British assurance for Sterling Silver; Lower case "i" Year 1904; Leopard head: Town mark for London Assay office.

Expected wear for age; Glass in excellent condition, sterling lid is dented but fits snugly, consistent denting for age and material. Inspect images and video.
