Proof that "modernizing" doesn't have to be devoid of character nor an object's history! This 19th Century exquisite French Five-Light Bronze Candelabra was fitted with electricity while still retaining its elegance, artistry, and purpose. From finial to feet, this lighting fixture is a work of art! At the base, we see three feet that curve up to support the rams heads and beautiful detailing between. This acts as a pedestal to the three putti figures casually standing around the column. Five detailed arms hold out golden cups that were once meant to flaunt tapered wax candles. Even without them, they still glimmer and float in the light. A delicate chain cascades over each arm making it feel more delicate and to add a bit of movement. And to top it all off, the finial is an elegant contrapposto figure of a woman wearing a stola. We hope you enjoy this piece as much as we do!
