Conrad Kiesel was born in Prussia (now Germany) and spent most of his life studying and practicing artistic mediums. This beautifully framed piece features an elegantly dressed women leaning against a romantically painted wall next to a marble fireplace. In front of the fireplace sits a bouquet of flowers on a stool. The woman is entranced by the letter in her hand, clearly a welcomed token of affection.
