Nourot Art Glass Studio Valerie Surjan 1990 Green Cameo Glass Vase.  Crafted by Valerie Surjan for Nourot in 1990. Nourot glass was founded in 1974 by Michael Carl Nourot and Ann Corcoran in California. They pioneered many techniques and practices that gained them international recognition. In 1987, Nourot was commissioned to create communion and mass pieces for Pope John Paul II's visit. High profile commissions followed after that. New artists also became a part of Nourot. Valerie Surjan had gallery presence across the United States and most of her work features the characteristics seen in this piece.

Signed on base "Nourot Valerie Surjan #1951 1990".

Condition: Excellent

Expected wear for age and preloved item; minor residue on surface and interior which can be removed with dish soap and water. Minor surface scuffing consistent with glassware on base.
