Scott Miller, American (1955-2008)

Miller belonged to a generation of postmodern artists inspired by cartoons and
graffiti. His subject matter initially focused on dreamy agglomerations of cartoon-like creatures, animals, plants and humans. In his later years, Miller painted images
of strange and eerie organisms that fused characteristics of plants and the
human body.

Exhibited at the Cleveland Museum of Art: "Scott Miller: In Memorandum," Convivium33 Gallery, Cleveland, Ohio, May 25--June 24, 2012.
