Born in Glasglow, United Kingdom in 1860, Crawford was known for his architectural watercolors, illustrations, and engravings. He exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy from 1879 - 1889. He is part of collections at the British Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, and the National Galleries of Scotland.
