Classic study with vintage style! This Framed Lithograph was made by Mexican-American Artist, Alexander Cañedo. A nude female with a face and hairstyle similar to the original Barbie is rendered in a reclining pose. An excellent addition to any collection!

Alexander Cañedo, Mexican (1902-1978)
Cañedo was a Mexican-American artist born in Mexico City in 1902 known for his work in the surrealism and magic realism art movements. In 1928 he began exhibiting in New York City galleries, signing his work with just his last name. In 1932 he was invited to a solo show at Cheshire Gallery in the Chrysler Building. He was praised for his subtle modeling and luminosity and use of Greek inspiration with modern, original expressive interpretation.
