When this vase first arrived, we just thought it was vibrant, artfully made glass work! Upon further inspection, we discovered this is actually an unusual Baccarat Ikora Vase from the early 20th Century. The color, shape, and style are all rare for a Baccarat piece, but the iconic hallmark is stamped at the base. Vibrant red glass is marbled with white, gold, and orange to create a swirling abstract masterpiece. A truly unique addition to any home collection!

Rare One of a Kind Hand Blown Red Glass Vase Baccarat French 20th Century Spittoon shape
This seems to be a on-of-a-kind vase. It is signed with a circular factory mark on the verso, as other Baccarat pieces are signed/hallmarked. It is blown with various glass including clear, red, and white. The layering causes a mottled pattern. An exaggerated flared rim and bulbous base is similar to the shape of an antique spittoon. Thee are other glass artists who produced similar pieces throughout the early 20th Century such as Karl Wiedmann's Ikora vase.
