Expected wear for age (1950s). One earring has two slightly discolored stones, but difficult to see when wearing.
Size: 1" widest point; 3/4" width; 3/4" depth
Screw on earrings allow the wearer to snuggly attach the earring to their earlobe in one area. You want the earring to not pull off when lightly tugged, but not too tight where you feel it pinch. Your ear will "swell" around the earring while you're wearing it and that is why you don't need to screw them on until they hurt. For these reasons, they tend to be more comfortable and secure than clip ons.
