Vintage Lalique with a Mythological Motif "Le Faune" was designed by Marc Lalique in the 1960s and features a Satyr and Nymph dancing amongst grape vines. In Greek mythology, satyrs and nymphs were both part of the natural world and spiritual world. Satyrs, half-man and half-beast, were known for day-drinking, playing instruments, and chasing nymphs (their leader being Pan, god of the wild, shepherds, and fertility). Nymphs were beautiful and feminine nature spirits that resided in the waters, forests, and mountains. Together, they celebrate our world and all its wonders! Add a bit of that energy to any room with this fabulous Frosted Crystal Figurine.
