Twelve Antique Coalport England Indian Tree Bone China Luncheon Plates
Scalloped edge dessert/salad plates hand-painted with a gnarled blooming tree branch with coral peonies; the border is embellished with gold fretwork trim. Coalport was known for their rich colors as seen in these plates. Iconic "Coalport Blue" (cobalt) sunflowers, and apple green leaves can be seen throughout. "Indian Tree" was first produced in 1802. This set dates between 1891-1920 based on hallmark.
Signature/Hallmarks: "England" curved font above a crown, "Coalport AD 1750" curved below the crown.
Condition: Excellent
