Vintage R. Blackinton Co Sterling Silver Classic Ice Cube Tongs; 1920s-1940s
R. Blackinton & Co. operated in North Attleboro, MA from 1862-1967. Though they were sold in 1967, Roswell Blackinton's family line stayed in the trade. Today, his great-great granddaughter reclaimed the longstanding trade name with modern family business: S.R. Blackinton.
Stamped "STERLING" with "R" in a frame, "B" with a sword through its center, "CO" and "1585"
