We never expected a vintage pitcher shaped like a 17th century sailor would be so charming! This Toby style ceramic vessel is a Portuguese reproduction of early Faience pottery Toby ewers. The artist took some liberties when recreating this piece which makes it appear more folk inspired than the realism that appears in the antiques. How the colors, patterns, and glazes are applied adds to the unique character of this moderately rare object. Wherever he sits in your home, he is surely to spark joyful conversation!
