If you enjoy sailing of being on the water, this Print from Rosenfeld Studio is for you! The photograph was taken by Stanley Rosenfeld (1913-2002) whom began his photography career at the age of 13 by working in his father's Manhattan studio. Although they did a lot of commercial work, both Stanley and his father found joy in photographing yachts around the New York shores. On their own boats (Foto I, II, and III), they routinely worked together to compose shots. In 1930, he photographed his first America's Cup yacht and his fascination with the sporting event became a tradition for his practice. He continued to boat and photograph yachts through the 1992 regatta. His photography and passion for the sport landed him an induction to the America's Cup Hall of Fame in New Zealand. This framed photograph is one example of his passion and skillset combined!
