WEISS was founded by Albert Weiss in New York and the company ran from 1942- 1971. They produced high-quality costume jewelry. Weiss had previously worked for Coro prior to opening his own company. He imported Austrian crystal to use for his pieces and each was hand crafted. His designs rivaled many luxury brands at the time due to the quality of his jewelry. This popularity led to expansion to Germany, Rhode Island, and France.
